Nitrox
Diver Course

OUTLINE
This is the entry level certification course for recreational divers
wishing to utilize enriched air Nitrox (EAN) as a breathing gas. The
objective of this course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and
proper procedures for using Nitrox mixes from 22% to 40% oxygen content
for dives to a depth of 130fsw not
requiring stage decompression.
PREREQUISITES FOR ENTERING THE COURSE
 | Minimum age 15 |
| Certified Diver with logged dives |
| Can be taken during Scuba Diver Course and with
Nitrox Gas Blender Course. |
COURSE REQUIREMENTS
| Classroom hours - 4 |
| 1 Nitrox dive (optional). Student divers must
demonstrate basic knowledge of physiology, physics, mixing procedures,
dive tables, dive computers and Nitrox specific equipment
considerations. |
